Webová stránka značky: AVGAVG Technologies bola česká spoločnosť so sídlom v Brne, ktorá vyvíjala a vydávala bezplatný aj komerčný bezpečnostný softvér pre koncových užívateľov i firmy. Spoločnosť založili v roku 1991 Jan Gritzbach a Tomáš Hofer. Od roku 2016 je dcérskou spoločnosťou Avast Software, pod ktorou značka AVG funguje aj naďalej. V jednotlivých pobočkách po celom svete, v USA, Izraeli, Brazílii, Česku, Holandsku, Veľkej Británii a Nemecku zamestnáva cez 1000 osôb. Vybudovala tiež globálnu sieť odborníkov, ktorí skúmajú webové hrozby. Jej súčasťou je 202 miliónov užívateľov produktov AVG, ktorí zasielajú dáta zo svojich systémov do centrálnej výskumnej siete.
